Are you ONE of San Diego or Orange County’s finest creatives? Join your local creative community as we celebrate the year’s most inspiring work in The One Awards San Diego, formerly known as The San Diego Addy Awards.
Open to agencies, brands, freelancers, production companies, and non-profit organizations of all sizes, the show will be judged by creative leaders from across the country with winners from each category taking home gold, silver or bronze. What’s new this year?
Now that we are a chapter of The Global One Club for Creativity (aka the coveted “Pencil” award) we have rebranded the show as The One Awards San Diego. We have also created our very own Gold, Silver and Bronze awards unique to San Diego.
What’s also new is the process for entering is now much easier because it is entirely online and there are no print outs or physical entries needed—yes! With this new process we won’t have our formal “Raid”, however on the night of the awards presentation we will be showcasing all entries on screen for everyone to see right before we announce the winners.
With all of this change including the creation and naming of our new local show as well as the design and production of our new awards, the timing of our 2020 show will not align with The One Show. What this means is gold entries will not be able to be forwarded to the 2020 show. However, we will have our next awards entries due this Fall and those will align and can move on to the One Show 2021. What’s even better is the cost of your local entry gets deducted from the Global One Show entry cost.
Lastly, we have adjusted categories to better align with the organization’s international and highly influential awards, The One Show. The categories, each with several sub-categories for more opportunities to showcase your work.
