Boise-based illustrator Brad Woodard is living the dream. The founder of studio Brave the Woods has developed a playful style that is inspired by curiosity and adventure. Known for his beloved retro style, he has illustrated for Ebay, USPS, Funko, Target, Penguin Randomhouse and more.
Join us at Creative Space on Wednesday, November 2, as Brad shares the secrets to success in the illustration business, and shares some of the techniques he employs to achieve his beloved retro style (iPads welcome!). Each in-person attendee will receive a limited edition print, signed and numbered by Brad.
Meet the creatives:
Brad Woodard is a designer, illustrator and online art educator. At the beginning of his career, he worked for everyone from small startups to large ad agencies. Then, nearly a decade ago, he and his wife Krystal started their own creative agency called Brave the Woods. Since then they have done work for clients all over the world including Ebay, USPS, Funko, Target, Penguin Randomhouse and more! Aside from client work, Brad loves teaching art online to both kids and adults. When he isn’t working he enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his wife and kids.
